Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Lake Windermere, offering tranquil views. The rooms are in need of updating and can be noisy due to their proximity to the main road and kitchen. The service is exceptional, especially from the welcoming staff members. The dining experience is satisfying with a variety of breakfast options. The hotel facilities are well-maintained.
The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of both Windermere and Bowness on Windermere. The rooms, although a bit worn, are very clean and spacious, with a separate sleeping area for our son. The service was polite and helpful, especially the General Manager. The dining experience was good, with beautiful food worth every penny. The facilities were well-maintained and convenient for guests.
The hotel offered a relaxed atmosphere in a convenient location between Windermere and Bowness, making it an ideal spot for a holiday. The rooms, however, were in need of a total revamp and felt uncomfortably hot during the night, affecting the quality of sleep.
